Hold Harmless Agreement

By participating in WCPIC events, trainings, or Narcan distribution programs, participants acknowledge the following.

Voluntary participation

All programs are voluntary. Participants assume responsibility for any risks associated with attending events or administering Narcan.

Tennessee Good Samaritan Law

Tennessee law (T.C.A. § 63-1-156) protects those who administer naloxone in good faith from civil liability. WCPIC provides free Narcan and training under this law.

Indemnification

Participants agree to hold WCPIC and its partner organizations harmless from claims arising from voluntary participation.
